Security and Alarms

TattleTale™ Alarms:
The Tattletale™ series of wireless alarms are designed for portability and easy set-up. Taking advantage of wireless and battery back-up technologies, the Tattletale will function even if, as part of a break-in attempt, your phone and power lines are cut.

Each Tattletale™ base unit features:

  • a 3 Watt cell radio for wireless central station monitoring
  • a 900MHz, 2000 foot range wireless transciever for communication with up to sixteen accessories per base station
  • a PIR motion detector to detect unauthorized entry
  • a tilt/shake/tamper detector to detect attempts to disable the alarm unit
  • a 115DB siren, loud enough to "wake the dead"
  • a safety strobe alarm light, which flashes continuously when an alarm event occurs
  • a ten-hour internal battery backup to provide security even when the power goes out

Tattletale™ optional accessories include:

  • an auxiliary mobile power supply, for sites where electrical service is unavailable
  • door & window open sensors
  • indoor & outdoor motion sensors
  • wired or wireless auxiliary outdoor siren/strobe combinations
  • signal boosters to extend the 2000 foot range between the base station and wireless optional components
  • audible glass break sensors
  • smoke detectors
  • cable loop sensors to protect vehicles, bicycles, ladders, etc. from theft
  • keychain remote control

Network Cameras:
Utilizing current networking technologies, network cameras allow you to leverage your existing ethernet data network as a component in your security implementation. When combined with high-speed internet connections, network cameras can provide remote monitoring of branch locations. Features available in network cameras include: remote control pan/tilt/zoom, low-light/infrared visibility and motion triggers that will turn the camera on only if motion is detected.

CCTV Systems:
The traditional CCTV system is still a viable security camera option when long term storage of monitoring tapes is a requirement. Videotape still provides sufficient storage density at a low enough cost to make it the most economical means of retaining continuous monitoring records. Remotely controlled pan/tilt/zoom, low-light/infrared capability, and motion sensor triggers are also available with CCTV systems.

Entry Systems:
Keypad, swipe card and biometric entry systems can greatly enhance the security of your physical plant. With appropriate controls and monitoring, they can be integrated with your time & attendance systems and allow fine-grained control of entry and exit. For example, certain cards or codes may only be active at designated times. Detailed entry and exit records, especially when combined with biometrics, can mitigate or eliminate payroll disputes, "buddy punching," "wandering employee syndrome," etc.
